Wednesday 23rd Feb – SOCIAL!!!! There is an AU Warm up with a theme and a competition between AU Clubs so we all need to be there to represent our club…and win!

I am aware I promised you all a pub golf and there will be one in the near future just takes a little more organising!

Another invitation to this years RYA Level 1/2 course on 18th-20th February, the weekend after next. There are two people who no longer want to take part on the course so two places have opened up for anyone who wants to learn to sail and wasn’t able to get a place on the course first time round. The plan for the additional training to be done before BUCS is as follows;

Tuesday 8th (Tomorrow) – (Pete)

Wednesday 9th – (Ali)

Sunday 13th – (Pete)

Wednesday 16th (Ali)

Weekend of the 19th/20th – BUCS

Could all of teams 1 and 2 attend as many sessions as possible, in particular wednesday the 16th. GILRS team please come along too, others are welcome, but priority will be give to team members, sorry but we have a gift, in being given more time to train before BUCS and there are more sessions planed over the next term.

Right we will meet at the pool at 11.40 head to the club get some races in, as long as its not too unsuitable, as the forcast currently suggest, if its too windy to train, we will sail and see what happens… We will go to the lake and attempt to train though.

Remember your lunch, kit and your £2 for the fuel.

Also if you’re coming to Brunel bring your money for Nikki too.

We have been informed that the AU Ball will be held at Leicester Tigers Ground on 16th May 2011. Yes this is a Monday but it is to make it cheaper for everyone. SAVE THE DATE!!! Should be another fantastic night to look forward to.

Just a reminder that I need any outstanding claim forms (petrol money etc…) from last term ASAP otherwise the union can refuse to give you the money back because claims should be made within the same term.

If I don’t receive your forms by MONDAY 31ST JANUARY I will not be able to put the forms in for you.

Happy New Year!! Just a quick email to update you on the situation with socials for this term!

For those of you who are lucky enough to not have exams then I apologise for the lack of socials but judging by facebook you are all hitting Hey Ewe regardless!! Very jealous!!

After exams I am aiming to organise a Pub Golf which will most probably fall on the 16th February and then the following week will be an AU warm up on the 23rd.
