Location
We regularly sail at, Foremark Reservoir which is in South Derbyshire is owned by Severn Trent and is also a 230-acre nature reserve open to the public for walking, fishing, bird watching and horse riding. Supplied with water from the River Dove and it was constructed in the 1970s. It is about a 30min drive from the University making it an ideal base. Foremark is also home to Burton Sailing Club and both Nottingham University and Welbeck College. Our own event the Lufbra Lemming is hosted here and we have our annual fun day here.
If you’re going sailing we usually meet at the University Pool or Cayley Gates and travel together to the reservior.
