If you’re interested in joining you can meet us at the Athletic Union Bazaar on 9th & 10th October (provisional) in the Sir David Wallace Sport Hall (78 on the campus map) and we’ll answer any questions you have got about the facilities we have and what we get up to and join while you’re there if you want. You can visit our stand along the left wall as you walk into the hall or you might find us outside next to our dinghy.
If you dont have chance to speak to us and are still interested we are holding an introductory meeting on Tuesday ??th October, gathering at ?? in the Union Meeting Room. This is a chance for you to meet everyone and for us to see who would like to do what. Look forward to seeing you there.
Membership
There are no trials to join, we welcome members of every level as long as you can swim. Membership costs £62 for the year which covers all costs for sailing, basic training and use of the boats. You will also need to pay for AU Affiliation (to cover insurance) which costs £15. This has to be paid whichever clubs you join and if you join more than one club it only needs to be paid once. To come to our usual sailing sessions you only need to pay £2 to cover the cost of fuel.
