TIME: 10.30am meet at the swimming pool (not sure what time we will back as it’s up to how everyone is feeling)

FOOD: Everyone needs to bring what they would like to BBQ and eat

Hi All,

Just a reminder about the RYA level 1 & 2 courses on the 19th & 20th June. If anyone else who would like to take part there are still places available, please send me a reply by Friday. Can those people who asked me about it at the reservoir yesterday please drop me an email as well to let me know that you are coming.

Hi All,

We’re putting together a RYA sailing courses for levels 1 & 2 on the weekend of 19-20 June. This is an intensive course aimed to get many of you recognised with a RYA qualification! The plan is that those of you who have begun sailing this year will be able to work towards RYA Level 1 over the weekend. The instructor running the course has said that he will try to take those with some more experience as far as he can over the weekend towards level 1 or 2.

I’ve not totted up the actual cost yet but it’ll be in the region of £60. This is a HUGE saving on the usual cost of this course which can cost upwards of £100.

If you would like to take part, please reply by Friday.

Sorry to add to the many emails today. Ive bought some stuff to rewaterproof my high fits and seems a bit of a waste to just do them on there own.

If anyone has any gear that they want doing I’m happy oblige. I’m going to put them in Tuesday afternoon so that they kit will be dry to use on Wednesday.

ANNUAL FUN DAY will now be held at Burton Sailing Club on the 22nd MAY! (not the 29th)

More details to follow but keep the date free….will be a really enjoyable day!

Hi all

there will be sailing tomorrow for the mojority of the day, with option to join in with the club racing if anyone so wishes.

We will be leaving the swimming pool at 9am. lunch will be availiable at the club and bring snacks.

As allways £2 for the drivers.

on another note there are still some tickets availiable for the AU Ball (15 may). there is allready a load of people going and it will be a really great night, and not just because you mock each other for  attempting to wear something other than shorts.
