Hope all of your exams have gone well and you are  having a nice break now before Semester 2.

This week (weds the 3rd) we will be heading to the Hey Ewe, AU warm-up. We need everyone to come in order to get our Hey Ewe sponsorship points, and points mean money for the club! We will be meeting at 8.30 in JC’s! Don’t be late!

There is a rowing competition for anyone who’s interested, if you take part you will get free entry to the union, but to compete we need a team of 4, so let me know if you want to give it a go. This also gets points for the club!

Hi guys and girls,

If you’d like to come sailing this Saturday then please reply to this, it’ll probably be social sailing. But if we have enough people then we’ll do some team racing training in the Fireflys.

Also, some of us may be club racing on Sunday, which is a good opportunity to get some time in the Fireflys, as well as practicing your racing skills. Again, get back to me if you’d like to get involved.

Remember it’s still freezing cold, so bring some warm clothes/kit, as well as some spare clothes. A packed lunch and  a drink is a good idea too as we’ll be at the lake for most of the day.

I reckon 10.30am at the swimming pool is cool, if you can drive then let me know!

Morning guys and girls,

This is our next event after the BUSA qualifiers (6th/7th Feb, if you didn’t already know!). Please could you reply if you are interested in attending this event. We’re sending 2 teams, so there will be 12 people going, with maybe a couple of people tagging along for the socials.

Brunel are always a laugh and we get on with them really well, so should be a good (albeit drunken) weekend!

Hi guys and girls,

If anyone wants to come sailing on Wednesday then please reply to this email! We’re planning to leave the swimming pool at the usual time of 1pm, however we may be able to go earlier depending on people’s plans.

If you are coming, please remember to bring warm sailing kit/clothes, a towel and a change of clothes as it is still really cold.

The plan is to have this as a social sailing session, but we may be able to do some team race training for the guys taking part in the qualifiers.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a great holiday and are all ready for exams!

Just to remind you, I still have a huge box of uncollected stash (the hoodies and social polo shirts). It’s a massive box and takes up a lot of room in my house, so I’d quite like to get rid of it!

You can come and collect it any time from my house (4 Westfield Drive) just give me a text beforehand to make sure I’m there.

Also, a date for your diaries…our Refreshers social will be on Wednesday the 10th of Feb, once everyone’s exams are out of the way. So make sure you keep it free!

I know this is very short notice but a few of us are going for a little sail tomorrow to have a little practice in the Fireflys and get some coaching. If anyone is interested then there are 2 places left in my car, which I’m happy to have filled. If more than 2 other people would like to go then we need another driver (if anyone is free and has a car).

So let me know if your interested and I’ll try and sort it. We’ll aim to leave at 1, but if we can leave earlier then that’d be great!
