Ok, tomorrow is the ice skating trip, we will be meeting at the swimming pool car park at 7pm (apart from committee who will already be at my house) then drive to nottingham for 7.30 ice skating. Can everyone bring a £3 contribution for petrol, we will need this as soon as we meet.

Hi all,

             Simon here!  I am the Event Coordinator for LSSWC this year. I am writing to you all to let you know about some very important and exciting news for all members of the club! For the first time in a few years Loughborough will be holding our own Sailing Racing event which will take place on the 5th and 6th of December 2009; a little under 3 weeks away!

At the moment we hope to have around 12 teams taking part from various Universities including our own and so should be a really good event!

At the moment we are finalizing the plans for the weekend which promises to be great fun both in terms of sailing and some socials! The plan for the weekend is as follows:

• Friday Afternoon – Teams arrive in Loughborough + are allocated to club members’ houses where they will be staying

Hi everyone,

It’s that time of year again for our annual Ice Skating trip…a great opportunity to make a complete fool of yourself on ice! We are going on the Monday after next (30th of Nov) in Nottingham. The session starts at 7.30 and ends at 10pm. I know it seems like a long way away but the Ice rink want to know how many of us there are so they can work out how much money we can have off! At the moment it should cost just £5 including free skate hire.

Big News, we have finally sorted our stash for this year. This is now live on the E-Shop (log in to the Union website www.lufbra.net, click ‘Memberships’ on the left and click ‘Sailing & Windsurfing’) and will remain so until 1800 next Wednesday (25th November).

This year we are offering (details below):

• Musto Snug Jackets
• Musto T-shirts

Nothing is “required” although I would definitely recommend a Social Polo Shirt so we can all look smart as a team, both at events and at any socials.

Sorry, we seem to be flooding your inboxes this week!

Just a reminder about tomorrow’s social, it’s a pub safari around Loughborough, ending in Hey Ewe. It’s a safari, so would look pretty silly without animals, so we want to see everyone make an effort to dress up!
