The Leeds Haloween Howler is a great event, with socials in leeds and sailing at west riding sailing club.

Fancy Dress is compusory and the theme we have been given is “The Corpse Bride”, so a big effort, get creative and the best costume will get free entry to hey ewe next week.

Hi Guys,

I hope none of you have forgotten…Hey Ewe tomorrow dressed as PIRATES!! We will be meeting in JC’s at 9pm and then going on to the union after that. There will be free queue jump and entry and a free drink for the best dressed pirate!!!  ( I have about a million eye patches for those of you who dont already have one, so dont go out and buy one!)

This is the first official social, so it would be great to see everyone there!

Hi Everyone,

I’m Jenni, Sailing and Windsurfing Social Sec. Hopefully I met most of you at the welcome meeting last week.

We have lots of great socials lined up in the next few weeks, which I am busy organising!

Tomorrow, as always, we will be hitting Hey Ewe, so if you fancy coming along meet us in JCs at about half 9 for a few drinks before lots of dancing in the Union!

Our first official social will be next Wednesday’s Hey Ewe (the 21st) which will be a PIRATE theme, we want to see everyone make a big effort to dress up as the club gets points for the amount of people who turn up and extra points if we are all dressed up! And points = Money for us!

It will be a great chance to meet everyone, so we hope to see you there!!

Hi All,

Hope you have been down to the club and had a sail if not I’m sure you will be soon! I may have meet some of you already briefly at the freshers fair and the old hands will know me as a pain in the backside who cant leave the sailing club alone!

The purpose of this email is to ask about people interested in doing some sailing qualifications and to find out what you guys already have if you have some. Initially we will be offering RYA level 1 and 2 but we hope to offer others in the future.

The RYA is the the sailing body most recognised in the UK and is recognised in many other countries around the world. Most places will allow you to hire a dinghy if you have a level 2! So the aim is to get as many who are interested up to … Continue Reading

To those of you who made it out to the Sailing on Wednesday and the social, I hope that you enjoyed it! We are going to be running another sailing day this Saturday (2 days time). Its going to be a recreational session again so if you didn’t get a chance to go on Wednesday and you are keen then please do come along. Please could you reply to my personal email address (cegeorge@mac.com) as the other one isn’t working yet if you would like to come and also if you are willing to drive? Please get this to me by Friday lunchtime at the latest!

Details of timings will be confirmed on Friday, and as always please remember to bring £2 for drivers’ fuel costs.
